About Us

We’ve been offering drum lessons since 1988. Our instructors are friendly, patient, and love teaching students of all ages. They’re musically educated, professional working drummers.

We're Located...

in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Nipomo. Each location has two studios, each equipped with two drum sets (for instructor and student). Our curriculum has been developed for all levels, beginner to pro. Students learn technique, reading, and a variety of styles.

How To Start

To sign up for lessons, call DrumSchool 101 at (805) 543-0377. Our scheduling and payment system makes it easy for you. We’ll find a location and time that works best for your schedule to get you started right away. It’s that easy!

Materials Used

All you’ll need is a pair of drumsticks, practice pad to start. We’ll provide a binder and materials. You may need a specific book or other supplies recommended by your teacher.

Hand Percussion

We also offer conga, djembe, and other ethnic percussion lessons.

Rates

MONTHLY TUITION: $90 (1/2 hour x 4 weeks per month)
Includes FREE DrumClub 101 Membership

SINGLE LESSON (1/2 hour) $25 (cancellation allowed with 48 hour notice)

Registration: $20 (one time fee per family includes notebook/materials)
